Quality control is the most important skill you can develop as a LoveGoBuy buyer. The warehouse photos are your only chance to catch problems before the item ships internationally. Here is the complete QC framework for 2026.
The 48-Hour Window
LoveGoBuy gives you 48 hours to review warehouse photos after an item arrives. Do not waste this window. The photos are your insurance policy. Once you approve, the item ships, and returns become significantly harder.
What to Check on Every Item
Every category has specific QC points, but some checks are universal. Check alignment, stitching consistency, color accuracy, and material texture. Compare the photos against the product listing in the spreadsheet. Any deviation is a red flag.
Shoes: The Most Complex QC
Shoes require the most detailed inspection. Check toe-box symmetry, heel-tab alignment, sole pattern crispness, and insole branding. The warehouse photos usually include top, side, and bottom views. If any angle is missing, request additional photos.
When to Request a Return
Not every flaw is worth a return. Minor stitching variance on a budget item is expected. Misaligned panels on a top-tier item is not. Use the price tier as your tolerance guide. Budget items get more slack. Top-tier items get less.
Golden rule: If a flaw is visible in the warehouse photo, it will be visible in person. If a flaw is visible in person, it will be visible to others. Decide your tolerance before you approve.
Documenting for Disputes
If you request a return, document everything. Screenshot the original listing, the warehouse photos, and your return request. LoveGoBuy support is functional but slow. Having documentation ready speeds up the process significantly.
Advanced: Using the Spreadsheet for Pre-QC
The LoveGoBuy spreadsheet notes column is your pre-QC tool. Before you even buy, check what other buyers have reported. If three buyers mention the same flaw, it is likely a batch issue. If no one has mentioned a flaw, it is either minor or the item is genuinely clean.
